Testul IELTS/ Speaking

START ENGLISH. Watch, listen, speak. Tips and tricks about English.
Testul IELTS consta din patru probe:
  • Listening: 40 minute (aprox.)
  • Academic Reading sau General Training Reading: 60 minute
  • Academic Writing sau General Training Writing: 60 minute
  • Speaking: 11 – 14 minute (aprox.)
The focus of this article will be the Speaking task. The topics for this task are based upon everyday life situations, but some tasks can be very unbecoming for many students. What I am trying to say is that some of the topics may not be so familiar to all the contestants, mainly because they are not all the time part of their daily routine or environment. For example, it can sometimes be difficult for a business man to develop a subject based upon a cooking routine.
A few tips:
Once you get your subject, try to brainstorm some vocabulary about it then think of some ideas on the topic that you can develop in conversation. Write down a few questions that you can ask your partner of conversation. One final tip: never stop talking, your goal for this task being to show your fluency on any topic. The topics for the speaking test are developed extensively during the preparation modules.

She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud...As dreams cost nothing... In ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. In the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email.
